THE NCLEX-PN Exam
State boards of nursing have authority over the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN test). It is common to refer to the NCLEX-PN as “The Boards” or “State Boards.” The sole purpose of the NCLEX-PN is to determine if you are qualified to begin practicing as a passage level, entry level, or professional medical caregiver. These authorities are responsible for directing nursing practice in each state and have an obligation to protect the public at large from dangerous and subpar nursing care.
Organization
The fundamental structure of the NCLEX-PN exam is as follows. The clinical model, in which understudies enroll in distinct clinical, cautious, pediatric, mental, and obstetric classes, is the foundation of many nursing programs. All of the content is synchronized for the NCLEX-PN exam, though.
Kind of queries
Questions are primarily multiple choice questions with four possible answer choices; however, there are also alternative sorts of questions. Different response, fill-in-the-blanks, issue areas, graph/show, and simplified inquiry kinds are examples of substitute inquiry types. Every question has integrated nursing information.
GRADING SYSTEM FOR NCLEX-PN (PASS/FAIL)
There is no mathematical score on the NCLEX-PN exam; it is a pass/fail assessment. Following the test, you will receive an assurance as to whether you passed or failed. However, the results will not be available on the test site. About two to six weeks following the date of your test, your State Board of Nursing will notify you.
Detailed instructions for NCLEX registration
You will receive two applications during your last semester of nursing school: one for the NCLEX-PN Exam and one for licensure. You will be required to submit the completed structures along with the licensure fees to your nursing school on a predetermined date.
